How this estimate is calculated
- Each repair type has a base charge for the visit and setup, plus a rate per leak, square foot, linear foot or fitting.
- The roofing material adjusts the total. Asphalt shingles are the baseline; metal, tile and slate cost more to repair.
- Steeper pitch and taller buildings add labor.
- A minimum service charge applies to very small jobs. Emergency or after-hours service adds a call-out allowance.
- Each range is shown as about 12% either side of the calculated figure, then rounded.
- Not included: interior water damage, structural repairs, permit fees or a full roof replacement.
